Enologica34, the most important event dedicated to Sagrantino wines comes back to Montefalco in the days 20, 21, 22 and 23 September. Identity, longevity, territory: these are the three key words of Enologica34, organized by the producers association â€œconservation of Montefalco winesâ€ in collaboration with the Municipality of Montefalco. This event aims to go â€œto the roots of Sagrantino wines" with a program that anticipates a rich series of initiatives dedicated to one of the most important Italian DOCG, able to play a leading role in the scenario of the great red wines in the world. The formula, while remaining largely unchanged, given the historicity of the event with its 34th year edition, however foresees several new features. On the one hand those aimed at the general public, with the opportunity to get close to the lands, villages and all that revolves around the wines of the area, in the bargain, in a special moment, close to the grape harvest, on the other hand the spaces and the in-depth analysis reserved to the operators and the specialised press. On this front, there are plenty of events to mark on your calendar: beginning with the tasting of all present Sagrantino wines to the educational, from conferences to workshops. Particularly significant is the focus on Sagrantino wines, with tastings leaded by some of the biggest names of the Italian wine critic, conventions, cooking shows with reference chef for the Umbrian cuisine as Marco Gubbiotti and Luisa Scolastra, the Grand Prix of Sagrantino wines and much more... And of course the winery Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri will attending the event!
