SUBRETIA - COUNTRY RESORT
Subretia is a project that has been brought to life in the wine producing area of Montefalco by Simona and Roberta Vitali, both passionately involved for years in the production of fine wines and in the enhancement of the territory. Through Subretia, the culture of wine meets the culture of hospitality, creating a new concept of tourism. The idea behind Subretia was to try to create an interaction between environment, tourism and wine culture while at the same time making a contribution to the enhancement of Montefalco.
Subretia ncludes 18 charmingly restored and frescoed residences. The entrance is just a short walk from the winery and affords a beautiful view over the surrounding hills and the mountains , providing the backdrop to the wide garden area.
Subretia is a journey within a journey. Through the frescoes in the apartments you will symbolically experience again the journeys of your memory, lending a magical dimension to time.
The standard suites (ranging from 25 to 40 sq. m.) and superior suites (ranging from 41 to 60 sq. m.) offer fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, satellite TV, safe, telephone, sheets and bath towels.
The lotus flower-shaped swimming pool with whirlpool system and fountain is located in the centre of the resort and offers guests beautiful views of the gently rolling Umbrian countryside.
The terrace around the swimming pool is provided with a solarium, the ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun during the day and admire the sunset and night lights in the evening.
The Villagelies within a large park with garden featuring pathways lined with beautiful displays of local flora. Water lilies, pergolas, cypresses, and broom shrubs accompany the guest on a discovery of many magical places to truly relax.
Subretia arranges guided tours for guests to the winery and vineyards of Rocca di Fabbri Estate, followed by a tasting of DOCG Montefalco wines. A nice opportunity to enjoy the tradition of wine and the tradition of hospitality.
